By accessing or using NetPayTools (“the Site,” located at netpaytools.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Description of Service
NetPayTools provides free, browser-based salary and tax estimation tools, including salary calculators, take-home pay calculators, paycheck calculators, and income tax estimators for all 50 US states and Washington DC (collectively, the “Calculators”).
The Calculators are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional tax advice, legal counsel, or financial planning services. NetPayTools is not a registered tax advisor, CPA, attorney, or financial planner.
Accuracy and Limitations
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that our Calculators reflect current federal and state tax rates, brackets, and rules. However:
- Estimates only. All results produced by the Calculators are estimates. They are not a determination of your actual tax liability or take-home pay.
- Standard deductions assumed. Calculations are based on standard deductions and do not account for itemized deductions, personal tax credits, local or city taxes, alternative minimum tax (AMT), or other individual circumstances.
- Tax law changes. Tax rates and rules change frequently. While we update our Calculators regularly, there may be a lag between legislative or regulatory changes and updates to our tools.
- No guarantee of completeness. We do not warrant that the Site or its content is complete, accurate, current, or free from errors.

Permitted Use
You may use the Site and Calculators for your own personal, non-commercial informational purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable federal, state, or local laws
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Site without our express written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its related systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to systematically extract data from the Site without prior written consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site
- Represent that the estimates produced by our Calculators are official tax determinations or professional tax advice
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, calculator logic, and code — is the property of NetPayTools or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CALCULATORS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CALCULATOR RESULTS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR CIRCUMSTANCES.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NETPAYHUB AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON ANY CALCULATOR RESULTS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SITE AND RELIANCE ON CALCULATOR RESULTS IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. ANY FINANCIAL, TAX, OR OTHER DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON CALCULATOR RESULTS ARE YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NetPayTools and its owners, operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as IRS.gov or state revenue departments) for informational purposes. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party website. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
